IllumeLab Intro Class
Whether you're brand new to The English Method or craving a back-to-basics refresh, this class is where your movement journey begins. We’ll focus on clean alignment, intentional muscle activation, and building real connection between your mind and body. The English Method
This isn’t your average barre class. Rooted deeply in ballet technique, The English Method is known as the most ballet-based barre workout out there—no prior dance experience needed, just a little coordination and curiosity. The class evolves every two weeks, progressively building in challenge to help your body learn, adapt, and avoid the dreaded fitness plateau.
We begin with a grounding warm-up to connect breath, body, and mind. Then it’s off to the barre, where ankle and arm weights intensify full-body combinations designed to target and fatigue specific muscle groups. After barre, we hit the mat for core work, followed by a feel-good stretch to lengthen muscles and release tension. Class wraps with a calming meditation and aromatherapy moment, leaving you balanced, strong, and recharged.
Stretch & Somatic Release
All levels are welcome in this slow, intentional class designed to help you release stored tension and reconnect with your body. Through a combination of mindful movement and deep stretching, you'll create space—physically and emotionally—while restoring balance from the inside out. Each class closes with a short guided meditation to help you ground, reset, and leave feeling lighter.
Novice Ballet
All levels welcome—especially if you've ever wished you’d taken ballet as a kid. This class is your chance to begin now. Ballet isn’t just a beautiful way to move; it’s a powerful tool for building confidence, self-love, and mental clarity. Learning new movement patterns boosts dopamine, sparks fresh neural pathways, and opens your mind to new possibilities. We’ll cover ballet basics in a supportive, judgment-free space—just enough to enjoy a few graceful barre and center combinations, and to leave class feeling a little taller, lighter, and more inspired.
Complex Ballet
For those who’ve danced before and miss the feeling of ballet in their lives, this class is your invitation to return to the barre. It’s about rediscovering the joy of movement while building on the basics you already know. A strong foundation ensures both safety and enjoyment, so we’ll start at the barre, refining technique and finding that familiar sense of flow. In the center, we’ll explore adagio, turns, and both petit and grande allegro, helping you reconnect to the artistry and expression ballet brings. Whether you’re coming back after time away or deepening your practice, this class offers the space to reignite that passion for movement.
